This Privacy Policy explains how Jeff's Automotive Inc. ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with our business systems, including our online appointment scheduler, our text (SMS) communications, our QuickBooks Online integration application ("the App"), our internal employee application ("the Employee App"), and our browser extension for employees ("the Extension"). These are internal tools used to run Jeff's Automotive Inc.'s business operations.

We use this information only to operate Jeff's Automotive Inc.'s business — including scheduling, servicing vehicles, billing and accounting, customer communications, employee administration, training, internal team communication, and internal reporting and analysis (which may include automated/AI-assisted analysis to help summarize or organize the data). We do not use it for advertising.
Information handled by the Extension is used only to provide its features to you (guided walkthroughs, and team chat if enabled) and to keep it working. The Extension does not sell or transfer your data to third parties, and it does not use your data for purposes unrelated to those features or to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
We do not sell your information. We use trusted third-party service providers to operate our systems — for example to host and store data, process and analyze information, sign employees in, report technical errors, and send communications on our behalf. These providers may only process information as needed to provide their services to us and are expected to protect it. We may also disclose information where required by law.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding the messaging providers acting on our behalf solely to deliver our messages.
With your consent — given by checking the consent box in our online appointment scheduler or verbally when booking by phone — we send transactional text messages: phone-number verification codes, appointment confirmations, and appointment reminders. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. We retain information for as long as the relevant subscription or integration is active, plus approximately 90 days, after which it is deleted or de-identified — except where we are required to keep records longer to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations, and except for operational, security, and audit records (such as message-delivery and consent logs), which we retain as needed for record-keeping, security, and compliance purposes.
Employee information is retained for the duration of employment and afterwards as required for payroll, tax, and employment-record obligations. Team chat messages are retained according to the retention period we configure for the chat feature. Walkthrough progress stored by the Extension stays on your computer until you clear it or remove the Extension.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information, including encryption in transit and at rest and access controls. Access credentials and tokens used to connect to QBO are stored securely. Employee sign-in uses our Microsoft work accounts; the Employee App and the Extension access data only under per-employee permissions. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. You can disconnect the App from QuickBooks Online at any time through your Intuit account, which stops further access to your QBO data. You can remove the Extension at any time from your browser's extensions page, which deletes its locally stored data. We may update this Privacy Policy; the "Effective" date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
